Positivism Wednesday #3 // August

Hi there love,

How is your day going? I hope you are having an amazing day and if not I hope your day gets better. Today’s the third post of Positivism Wednesday and I’m glad to be sharing this post with you. To remind you the word of this month is Productivity and I try to incorporate this in all my Positivism Wednesday posts for the month of August. For today the Quote is about difficulties and daring in working hard for our dreams. I also wanted your opinion, do you enjoy posts like this? About positivism? Let me know your opinion. I highly appreciate it. I hope you enjoy today’s post.

Let’s get started!

the best way to prepare for life is to begin to live

*This was a quote is from Seneca, taken from the book Inspirational Meditations.

The quote I choose for today is: It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, It is because we do not dare that they are difficult. This one really spoke to me this week because I had a really hard time last week on different things. I couldn’t concentrate hence I couldn’t create my content like I normally do. This lasted until yesterday when I said enough is enough I am doing to dare and finish my unfinished content and projects. This is when I read this quote, things are not difficult to do, we are scared of them and our mind makes us believe it’s the most difficult thing. Being scared is okay but daring is brave! We need to be brave and go after our dreams. In my opinion, there are two types of scared. Scared of continuing with our dreams and not knowing that the outcome will be. The further we get into our dreams I feel like we get scared and making it even more difficult to finish. On the other hand it’s also scared to even begin with our dreams. In my personal experiences scared if my dreams aren’t really my dreams so I will loose my time, scared of the process and even the outcome that I won’t even start. But there are many ways we can minimize this feeling of being scared in order to do that difficult thing.

  • Recognize we are scared
  • Find out why we are scared
  • Work on this, what can we do to minimize this feeling
  • Prepare for every outcome
  • Have a plan B
  • The most important is to believe that we can, dare to do it and learn from any outcome possible.

By doing these we are minimizing our feeling of being scared and we will work hard on our project increasing our productivity. If this is not the case, it’s okay to take more time before jumping into things. As long as you are ready, you do you. Productivity is necessary in order to finish our projects or what you are working on. But remember to enjoy yourself, learn as much as you can and grow. This is something I was laking that is why I dedicated myself to find and learn more about productivity this month.

What is it that scared you the most? For me it’s failing, but I have learned that failing is okay because it allows us to learn and try again, this time harder and better. Are you a productive expert? Share you tips with me.

Thank you for your support!
