Why Taking a Break is OK

Hi there love,

I hope you are doing awesome on this Wednesday. I’m writing again and I couldn’t be more happier. After my surgery I was overwhelmed with work, trying to do my best to recover and keeping everything together and perfect however that wasn’t healthy. I got to a point where a break was necessary. I got my priorities together and decided to concentrate on work and health while putting other things on the side and this was in order to have less stress and pressure. Don’t get me wrong I love writing and blogging, however I want to offer good content and that was the stressing point for me. While I was writing every week, twice a week for a long month and feeling proud of myself, I knew that I needed to restart myself.

It was hard for me to stop because I had everything planned out for the blog and all the things I would do during November, but when I would start writing nothing came up. I was clueless what I wanted to write about. I became uninspired so I stopped. One thing to know about me is that if I’m uninspired I don’t create because nothing will work out. So after I took a break from my blog for a long month I feel happy and Inspired again.

What I want to share with you today is that, taking a break is okay. Not because you planned something means it will happen like you wrote, there will be success but there will also be obstacles. And learning how to deal with situations like this is to put yourself first. If you are not feeling content with what your doing at the moment it won’t work like you planned either, you will eventually make yourself feel worse. So if you feel uninspired, not creative or down choose your priorities and work on yourself before continuing. Remember your health and mental health are way more important than a job, hobbies, plans and more. I’m not saying quit everything, simply take a step back & breath before you continue because everything will work out in the end and If you are happy doing what you are doing it will work out even better.

I hope I helped you in some way with my blog-post today.

Have a great, blessed and positive day everyone!
